Things to know about Edith Cavell Meadows

Attention! The Edith Cavell Road is a seasonal road so it's not open untill late June, then closes in late-September/early-October when the snow is coming. The road is narrow with a couple of switchbacks. It's about 40 min from Jasper.

Make sure to check the trails conditions on Park Canada before leaving.

Most of the people are just hiking the 1.8 km (road paved) interpretative that give you a views of Angel Glacier

These photos been took August 21st... ok it was one of those weird day of the summer but usually it doesn't look quite like this. During summer the meadows are ablaze with flowers.

It is a popular hike to do during summer. It could be possible that you may have to park on the side of the road.

Fun and easy hike for the whole family. For younger kids you can also just make the 1.8 km trail.

Not a hard hike for the spectacular view you will get.
